Sounds impossible? Let me show you just how super easy it is to achieve this goal by adding a simple strategy to your healthy eating plan for weight loss.

Avoiding your kitchen after dinner can help you in your quest to find out how to lose weight without a diet! What do most of us do between dinner and bedtime every single evening? We get hungry! And then we head into the kitchen for a late night snack...

If you turn the kitchen into a no-go area after doing the dinnertime washing up, you can easily save about 109,000 calories per year! That can equal a weight loss of about 31 pounds a year without a diet!

How To Lose Weight Without A Diet Tip 4: Avoid After Dinner Kitchen Visits

Let's do the math and look at the extra calories we mindlessly consume after dinner. Even if these are healthy options, they add up over a period of time.

  • So, you love a healthy sandwich with peanut butter and banana before you go to bed? That's 2 bread slices at around 69 calories each, 2 tablespoons of peanut butter at roughly 200 calories and 1 banana weighing in at 20 calories. This combo gives you more than 358 calories.

  • Or do you prefer chocolate nut spread? Provided that you stick to 2 tablespoons, it will give you roughly the same number of calories as a peanut butter sandwich.

  • Now you are thirsty, so you open a can of soda pop? Another 150 calories added to the mix.

  • Those late night cookies are about 70 calories each.

  • That cheddar cheese bite or two (1 oz) equals another 115 calories.

  • Non-fat yogurt may be good for you, but it still gives you about 120 calories per 125 gram serving.

  • Feel like a salad? One tablespoon-sized dollop of salad dressing can be worth almost 90 calories.

How To Lose Weight Without A Diet Tip 4: 8 Ways To Avoid Your Kitchen

  1. Finish up in the kitchen right after dinner.

  2. Turn out the light and close the door to give yourself the right signal.

  3. If you need some extra help at first, you can even lock the fridge or tape it shut in some way. Ask the whole family to adopt this new habit and to help each other to stay out of the kitchen.

  4. Go for a walk or put on some lively music for a fun dance session if you feel peckish. Have something in place to steer your attention in a healthier direction.

  5. Brush your teeth! Yes, a fresh. minty taste in your mouth will help to make it easier to resist the snack temptation. Your body will soon get the message that eating is over once you have brushed your teeth.

  6. If you really must have something to eat, opt for lower calorie options such as turkey on bread, rather than peanut butter.

  7. Try to drink a glass of water if you begin to feel hungry. Hunger can often be the first sign of thirst.

  8. Aim to go to bed a bit earlier. This will shorten the most difficult time at night. In addition, research is showing that folks who get more sleep have a better balance in terms of hormonal levels. Your cravings for late-night snacks may disappear if your body gets more sleep! Try to stretch your usual 6 hours to 7 or 8 and see and feel the difference!
Can you see how easy it can be to learn how to lose weight without a diet? Doesn't this sound really doable and simple? Surely this approach makes much more sense than having to grit your teeth for yet another 'wonder-how-long-I-will-last-this-time' diet!
