The third tip in my 'How To Lose Weight Without A Diet' series, is very simple. Did you know that by cutting out just one tablespoon of creamy Mayonnaise per day, you can save around 90 calories daily?

In a year, this adds up to a massive 32,800 calories! So, you can lose a full 9 pounds of body weight in a year, without doing anything else!

How to lose weight without a diet? Just try to reduce the extra 'invisible' daily calories you won't even miss much, such as Mayonnaise. There are many ways to replace tangy Mayo in salads and on sandwiches.

  • Perhaps you can start to cut back on Mayo calories by switching to a low-fat product. Some of them can be very tasty.

  • Here is another good tip. Always have your Mayo on the side. Then simply dip your fork in the Mayo before taking a bite of salad, rather than mixing the Mayo into the salad. This is an effective way of cutting down on the fattening Mayo.

  • Try using more mustard. This is a low-calorie alternative (roughly only 11 to 14 calories per tablespoon) that still gives lots of taste and flavor to a sandwich.

  • Have you tried hummus? At around 27 calories per tablespoon, this is a good alternative to consider. It is high in protein and fiber as well. If you are not familiar with hummus, giving it a try may just give you a totally new option for use on sandwiches, pitas, tortillas, as a vegetable dip, etc. It is a thick paste made with chickpeas, tahini (similar to peanut butter in texture, but made with sesame seeds), lemon juice and garlic.

  • Make your own salad dressing with equal parts cider vinegar, balsamic vinegar and grape seed oil. Add honey to taste and flavor with black pepper and fresh or dried herbs or other seasonings of your choice.

  • Low fat or fat free sour cream can also work. Season it with black pepper and onion powder or grated raw onion.

  • Don't forget about avocado! Mashed and combined with a bit of salsa and lemon juice, it is a superb alternative! Add seasoning to taste.
It just takes a bit of imagination and a fresh way of looking at the ingredients in your kitchen, if you want to discover how to lose weight without a diet. There is no reason at all to feel deprived and hungry.
