A smooth, clear, healthy, glowing and young-looking skin is high on the wishing list of most of us. Is juicing for a clear skin possible? Are there specific vegetables and fruits that are good for your skin?

This veggie not only offers cancer protection, but is also superb for skin health. It is rich in a variety of antioxidants, folate and compounds that can help to facilitate cell repair. In addition, it even offers some healthy fatty acids for hydration and plumping up skin cells.

9. Cucumber

The humble cucumber is a good source of silica, which is superb for your skin, hair and nails. Just make sure that you get unwaxed cucumbers, so that you don't have to peel them. Most of the silica is close to or in the skin. Cucumber is also extremely hydrating. So if your skin looks tired, some cucumber juice may help.
